A new magazine dedicated to HP Lovecraft
For lovers of solitary Providence that's rubbing his hands
debut editorial Lovecraftian Studies, a new magazine of essays and studies dedicated to the life and work of Howard Phillips Lovecraft, edited by Pietro Guarriello under the brand of Dagon Press. Publication amateur diffusion controlled and limited, that since the title refers to the legendary notebooks of Lovecraft American Studies, the magazine aims to promote criticism and the study of Lovecraft through essays, documents and articles, put forward by his first outing as an important reference point for fans of Italian Gentleman of Providence, between amateurs and experts. In the contents of the first issue include a guide to the fiction of HP Lovecraft by Fabrizio Claudio Marcon, Articles The Copernican revolution of the Dreamer Providence Massimo Berruti and Scott-Elliot inspired Lovecraft Gianluca formwork, and Lovecraft and music, a landscape Bruno Gargano, Helvetius Sciallis on the latest and Andrea Bonazzi produzioni discografiche in tema, e l'approfondito dossier Lovecraft: ipotesi di un viaggio in Italia dedicato all'omonimo "documentario" di Federico Greco e Roberto Leggio, in onda lo scorso 31 ottobre su Studio Universal. Lo speciale comprende diverse schede informative e un'intervista di Michele Tetro al regista Greco, oltre all'autorevole intervento di Giuseppe Lippi a puntualizzare la natura di finzione del breve film, surreale omaggio lovecraftiano altrimenti proposto in veste di documentaristico realismo.
