La lunga fase di lavorazione e produzione è ormai lasciata alle spalle, e il volume è finalmente stato stampato e presentato in anteprima a Lucca Comics & Game 2010.
Siamo quindi fieri di presentare finalmente quest'opera al pubblico italiano ed internazionale, un'opera che non temiamo di definire unica nel panorama delle produzioni italiane dedicate al Sognatore di Providence e senza confronti (almeno a nostra notizia) per caratteristiche di concezione e di sviluppo.
Ma veniamo a chiarire meglio le caratteristiche di ciò di cui stiamo parlando: quella a cui ci riferiamo è una galleria di illustrazioni realizzata da autori italiani di estremo valore, sia fumettisti, che illustratori, storyboarders, set designers, cartoonists and others. The result is in our view, a sumptuous gallery where works of the invoice, follow one another very different technique and inspiration - all of great quality - page after page constantly causing a kaleidoscope of sensations and emotions in the reader. The element accomunante the various images is only one: the passion for the author and the highest possible fidelity to the spirit of his writing.
The title of the collection could only be " Lovecraft Black & White", of course, because the only mandatory rule and imperative given designers was to design and design thinking to reproduction in black and white and in that sense we believe that this initial choice has also led to a further more evocative.
Long is the list of contributors, with great artists such as Roberto Bodimani (dealing with "The Shadow Over Innsmouth"), Otto Gabos (looking in your palette, "The Colour Out of Space"), Alex Horley (its amazing Dunwich Horror!), Giancarlo Olivares (which seeks to explore the mysteries of "the one who whispered in the darkness"), Giuseppe Palumbo (lost in the depths of space-time with "The shadow dropped from the time"), Massimo Semerano (which wanders through the chaotic streets of the town of "The Shadow Over Innsmouth"), Luca Enoch (who hears from his study "The music of Erich Zann") and many more, names well known in the comic strip and some outstanding rookie, like the brilliant Matthew Bocci already cover of Lovecraftian Studies. "
Each illustration is accompanied by the magnification of a detail from the reference track of the story to which it can be traced, and a comment at the hands of the same artist who shows us some twists, reveals some interesting tidbits about its implementation or talks about his relationship with the work of Lovecraft.

Ai disegni della gallery principale si aggiungono, infine, alcune altre illustrazioni ospiti (talora già pubblicate altrove, talora inedite) ad opera di pochi illustratori stranieri che ne hanno concesso l'uso e che sono state poste ad accompagnamento delle parti testuali iniziali e finali, quali le introduzioni e le biografie, appunto perchè aggiunta "in più" - estranea tematicamente rispetto al blocco dei disegni che seguivano le regole suddette.
Tutto questo è Lovecraft Black & White , un sentito omaggio grafico ad un grande scrittore-mito, maestro indiscusso dell’horror letterario: H. P. Lovecraft. ” (Umberto Sisia)
